In this 60-minute, highly interactive training/mentoring, Merci Miglino applies her 20+ years coaching and training experience, teaching and sharing the 7 steps coaches need to master in order to offer effective and impactful 30-minute sessions, especially in a time-compromised workplace.
You will learn how to:
1. Key your listening to the perspective, not the problem
2. Apply laser-focused coaching techniques to get right to the core of the issue in a short amount of time.
3. Overcome resistance to being direct in your communication (and how metaphors can help you do this).
About the Speaker
For the past 20 years, Merci Miglino has run a successful coaching practice and conducts training and coaching for numerous organizations including the International Coach Academy, CoachA, Blanchard Coaching, Laser Coaching, Clearing Beliefs, and several Employee Assistance programs.
A Master Certified Coach (MCC) Merci hosts weekly Mentor Coaching groups and recently launched her ICF Credential Prep Course.
Educated as a teacher and working as a journalist, paralegal, communications director and campaign manager, she worked in the rough and tumble world of the New York State Legislature serving as Director of Communications.
A noted speaker, she has written a book, From Doormat to Diva© Taking Center Stage in your life. Merci serves up a cocktail of humor, insight, education and inspiration for life and business changing impact.
Merci lives in Albany, NY with her husband, who she calls ‘Bub’.
