President’s Message
Happy New Year, ICF High Country community!
As we step into 2026, I’m feeling both energized and deeply grateful. It’s an honor to begin this year serving as your Board President, and I want to start by saying thank you — for your membership, your presence, and the many ways you show up for this coaching community.
One message came through loud and clear in our recent membership survey: you want meaningful connection. That insight is shaping how we move forward this year. Whether it’s gathering at chapter events, connecting locally, or learning alongside one another, our focus is on creating spaces where coaches feel seen, supported, and truly part of something bigger.
You’ll see this come to life in several ways. Patricia Vincent is leading efforts to strengthen connections among coaches in the Boise area, while I’m actively working to engage Montana-based coaches. At the same time, one of our chapter priorities is building relationships with local companies and organizations to spark coaching conversations — creating opportunities for businesses to experience the power of coaching and for our members to build meaningful professional connections.
This year, we’re also excited to spotlight the incredible work happening within our membership. Many of you are offering mentor coaching, leading skill-building workshops, publishing books, and creating impactful programs. We want to better understand and showcase these offerings on our website so members can learn from — and refer to — one another. More to come soon on how you can share what you’re building.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to kick off the year with three fantastic programs in our first quarter, along with our ongoing monthly offerings. And if you’re feeling a nudge to contribute more deeply, volunteering is a powerful way to shape the future of our chapter while strengthening your own connections along the way. Together, grounded in our pillars of Member Value, Education, Succession & Governance, and Outreach, we’re building a connected, learning-focused, and sustainable community of coaches.
I can’t wait to see what we create together in 2026!
