About the Event

🎫 Event Description

What becomes possible when you stop planning your next question and fully engage with what is happening now?

As coaches, we improvise every day. Our structures and competencies provide a foundation, while our presence, listening, and curiosity allow us to connect and co-create with each client.

Join ICF High Country for a year-end gathering that combines chapter celebration with experiential learning.

Noon–12:30 p.m. | Annual Chapter Meeting

Connect with fellow members, meet the incoming Board, hear a brief chapter update, and enjoy giveaways as we celebrate our community and look toward the year ahead.

12:30–1:30 p.m. | Coaching with a Twist: Improv for Coaches

Amy J. Warshawsky, MCC, NBC-HWC, and Betsy Salkind, PCC, NBC-HWC, co-authors of Coaching with a Twist: Improv for Coaches, will guide you through structured improv exercises drawn from theatre, comedy, and coaching.

After demonstrations from the facilitators, you’ll spend most of the workshop practicing in pairs and small groups. Each exercise includes discussion to connect the experience to your coaching practice.

Together, we’ll explore how to stay present, listen closely, respond with creativity, and loosen the impulse to plan ahead. Expect opportunities to experiment, bring more playfulness into your coaching, and build connections with other coaches.

Coaches at every experience level are welcome. Come ready to participate, explore, and play!
