President’s Message
There is a quiet shift in the air during August. The long, sun-drenched days of summer begin to shorten, and subtle signs of the season ahead start to appear. Cooler mornings. Changing light. School supplies filling store aisles. August carries that in-between feeling of stillness and reflection, momentum and preparation.
In coaching, these transitional moments are often where the most meaningful growth begins. As routines return and new rhythms emerge, our clients may be navigating fresh starts, renewed commitments, or lingering uncertainty. As coaches, we have the opportunity to support these shifts by inviting clarity, curiosity, and intentional next steps.
This month is also a chance to do the same for ourselves.
What are you carrying forward from the spaciousness of summer?
What perspectives have shifted?
What is ready to be recalibrated?
Transitions offer powerful invitations to reconnect with our values, our purpose, and our presence. Let’s enter this next season with grounded awareness and openness to what is unfolding for ourselves, our clients, and our communities.
Wishing you ease and intention as you trade flip-flops for fresh starts.

DEIB Corner: Growing Together in High Country
At ICF High Country, our strength lies in our diverse voices and lived experiences. As coaches, we are called to embody presence, cultivate trust, and hold space for difference across identities, geographies, and perspectives.
This month, we invite you to reflect on one simple question:
How are you weaving inclusivity into your coaching practice?
Whether it is examining your own assumptions, welcoming a broader range of client experiences, or creating more equitable access to coaching, every step matters.
Let’s keep growing together.
